Studio Panorama

Tribeca Potters is a group of 18 clay artists sharing a large studio at 313 W.37th St., 4th floor . We work in a variety of styles and with a variety of materials. These include wheel thrown stoneware, slipcast earthenware, hand-painted majolica, handbuilt slab work and sculpture. There is a gallery in the front of the studio where much of the work produced can be seen and purchased.

In addition to selling from the studio on West 37th, several of us participate in national wholesale shows and sell our work to a variety of gifts shops and galleries throughout the country. Our work may be seen in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We also participate in shows and sales in the metropolitan area and in New England.

A variety of functional and decorative work can be found in our gallery. Mugs, bowls, pitchers, platters, vases, teapots, and dinnerware are usually in stock. We accept special orders, design items or handle individual requests. In the past we have designed and produced work for restaurants, advertising agencies caterers, and architectual firms. In addition we have functioned as a bridal registry.

All the work sold in the studio is made and fired on the premises, and you can always see work in progress. We're open whenever we're here and that's most of the time, so give us a call and pay us a visit.
